Jeremy Merrick Joins as VP Sales and Business Development

CAMPBELL, California (May 24, 2016) — Interfocus Technologies, Inc., a US-based provider of secure productivity management solutions, today announced that Jeremy Merrick has joined the executive management team as vice president, sales and business development. Merrick brings more than 16 years of sales and channel experience delivering innovative security solutions to global customers.

Prior to joining Interfocus Technologies, Merrick was Director of North American Corporate Sales Group at F-Secure, a Finland-based threat protection company, where his leadership drove the launch of their cloud based security-as-a-service and mobile security to the channel.

Merrick played pivotal sales and business development roles with several successful technology and security start-ups including Akimbi Systems (acquired by VMware), Solidcore Systems, Inc.(acquired by McAfee) and Teros (acquired by Citrix). His focus has included building global partnerships with channel distributors and resellers, as well as creating alliances between various security applications and products.

Merrick holds a BA in Politics with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of San Francisco. He lives with his wife and family in Los Gatos, CA.
